Everything is now erased..The regular season has come and gone and now it matters. With the success of the season, there is a lot of pressure on us. Anything less than a Gold Medal in playoffs will be a bad season. It really feels like Detroit. I am nervous but I am excited. The practices have been short but intense.
We will play Lorenskog, they finished in 8th place but are a good team They qualified for the Elite league last season by winning the 1st division, and they have given us a tough time each time we have played them. They are one of 3 teams who have beaten us at home and every time we get a lead against them they continue to push and have kept all the games within a goal. We hope to play a simple game and grind them down. They are not as deep as we are and hopefully in a long series we will wear them down. We play every other day starting tomorrow the series will go for us, Away, Home, Away, Home, Home, Away, Home. If we win, it is the same format for each series.
In other news, I have signed a one year contract extension. We have talked back and forth for 6 weeks or so and today we came to an agreement. Sparta has treated me well, and I have enjoyed the Norweigan lifestyle..In the words of the great Cleveland Indians catcher, Jake Taylor ''Here's to another year in the sun''

Good news that you have sorted your contract for next season out. There were rumours over here that you had signed for the blaze but glad that didnt happen. We will get to see you in a game in norway then. speak soon andy
